LIBRARY ORIENTATION
an introductory program for new library users, typically students, that aims to familiarize them with the library's resources, services, and facilities, guiding them on how to effectively use the library to support their learning and research needs.
Vision
The MVGFCI Library envisions to it be a learning and information resource haven for our stakeholders that promotes general learning, instruction, research, and extension.
Mission
In pursuit of its vision, MVGFC shall provide full opportunities and support to ensure and sustain quality instruction, research, community extension, student affairs, and support services.
Objectives
a) To create strong awareness of the different learning resources of the library (i.e., to not simply look for textbooks but to look for
E-books, periodicals, magazine clippings, e-library USA);
b) To assist students to search and find learning resources;
c) To support all educational programs of the school by providing up-to-date references on all syllabi and course modules.
d) To cultivate reading habits; and
e) To develop the interest of its stakeholders to use the library for their overall development.
